With Priscilla Ermel having appeared on both volumes, Music From Memory gave audiences a chance to properly explore her intriguing discography on her own dedicated compilation, Origins Da Luz. If you were a denizen of Japan, you may have heard the album’s sublime piano tracks as environmental sounds and background music for television documentaries, medical clinics, and health shops during this time. The result is an uplifting collection of sonic sunshine, where twanged-out guitar riffs dance through bubbling horn choruses to joyous effect.
